About The Project

The Fake is an innovative studio collaboration between songwriters Brad Newell and Craig Pearman, creating original music that pays homage to iconic artists from the 1950s through the 1980s. Each song is carefully crafted to capture the essence and style of legendary performers, while maintaining its own unique identity.

• Select an iconic artist/band from the 50s-80s

• Write an original song in their style

• Record using era-appropriate techniques

• Create authentic vintage production

• Collaborate with guest musicians

• Partner with Ronald Tucker for video creation
