Brad Newell's ‘String Thing’ is a unique twist on the usual singer-songwriter style. Brad sings and plays original and cover material while playing guitar, banjo, mandolin, and various other stringed instruments along with his conga player Larry Lee. Bluegrass, Folk, Blues, Jazz, and other styles pop up throughout the show. Larry and Brad are seasoned professionals who know hundreds of songs and have shared the stage with such notable performers as Melissa Etheridge, Suzanne Vega, Jerry Jeff Walker, Donovan, and The Cowboy Junkies.
